Concentrated water dispersant and mild biocide for application to fuel storage tanks to counteract and prevent the manifestation of microbial growth.

PowerGen is designed to protect regular Diesel fuel and BioDiesel from deterioration during long term storage.

In the past the sulphur content in Diesel fuel preserved its integrity, so could be stored for longer periods of time. However, with the sulphur content of Diesel fuel now reduced to a minimal 0.1%, its longevity has been substantially reduced. Furthermore, Diesel with added biofuel content further impacts on this, bringing storage time down to a maximum of 90 days in most cases.

To overcome this problem an annual dose of PowerGen is recommended for fuel which will invariably be kept in long term storage, for standby generators.
 

PowerGen's stabilising agents slow the deterioration of the Diesel fuel preventing separation and oxidisation, and ensuring a combustible fuel when required. It's injection cleaning properties also prolong injector life and allow for a clean fuel 'burn' which reduces smoking.

PowerGen is also a powerful anti-microbial agent and prevents the formation of the 'Diesel Bug', responsible for fuel blockages and costly breakdowns.

Dosing recommendations: for best results PowerGen should be applied to the main fuel storage tank prior to refilling , to ensure a complete mix.
